Bernice Wilson‘s dancers and Paula MacArthur‘s Everything I’ve had but
couldn’t keep, Wendy Saunders‘ Hils and Helen Birmingham‘s collages.

Installation | Five days to go

Curation in progress, tools by hand, up and down the ladder – all in all team
effort to set up work of 12 artists inspired by the night and it’s light. Expect
film, installation, painting, drawing and ephemeral encounters. Hello Rye!

 

Exhibitions flyers arrived

A nice big pile of flyers fresh from printing. Now going all around Rye and beyond –

Kick off day | On-site

What a Monday.. six artists on-site of this empty building, clearing & cleaning.
Great team work! Lots done. Everything is spick & span. Next step – prep of
lighting for setting up the exhibition next week.

         

Week one | Getting the space ready

Having been handed over the keys – here we come! First step of preparing on-site for
our exhibition is a hands-on clearing and cleaning of relevant spaces. Who knows what
we will find in the recently disused Library and teaching centre.. Getting a sense of rooms
and connecting corridors, of upstairs and downstairs will offer a first imaginative mapping of the show. Great team work! Two weeks to go!
